The investigation continues into Friday’s murder in the fatal shooting of a woman in an upscale apartment building in West Hollywood.
Representatives responded to the call of gunshot victims at the 7300 complex of Santa Monica Boulevard at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a press release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was found in the hallway of the Avalon West Hollywood apartment building, with at least one gunshot wound to her upper body.
The Sheriff’s Department stated that the unidentified woman was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
No motive was found for the shooting, which a spokesman for the Ministry of Security described as suspicious.
The spokesman said additional units went to the crime scene to continue the investigation on Friday.
