What are the best small businesses for shopping in the Boston area?

Some local businesses may feel like an integral part of the community – the ones you just can’t live without. The past two years have been particularly difficult for small business owners, as lockdowns and uncertainty over COVID-19 have forced many to do so. They closed their doorsJust to remind many of how important some small businesses are in our daily lives.

As we head into the holiday season, many of us are thinking of ways to keep our holiday shopping local. In the coming months, we want to pay special attention to traditional businesses that continue to serve their communities.

Is there a restaurant you’d be happy to see beat the pandemic? Do you have a local barber or stylist that you recommend to any of your friends or a store you find yourself opening every time you are downtown? We want to know what small businesses think they are the hidden gems in the Boston area.
