A vegetarian protester uploaded footage of her storming a livestock event before screaming in front of an unmoved crowd.
Vegan activist Tash Peterson was photographed making a dramatic protest during a livestock event at the Royal Perth Fair which she later described as a “brainwashing event” on social media.
Ms Peterson uploaded footage of the protest to her Facebook page on Tuesday, claiming the cattle event “celebrates and glorifies animal abuse, slavery and murder”.
Mrs. Peterson can be seen climbing the fence before raising a protest banner in front of a crowd of onlookers.
She can be heard saying in the video to an unaffected audience.
“They are just as cute and cuddly as adorable dogs and cats.”
A man can then be seen wrestling her out of the pen.
Ms Peterson later posted the video on Facebook with a long description of her goals, and signed it with the writing, “If you’re not a vegetarian, you’re an animal abuser.”
“The Royal Show is a brainwashing and propaganda event run by Animal Agriculture in Western Australia; it celebrates and celebrates animal abuse, slavery and murder,” Ms Peterson wrote on Facebook.
The Australian documentary The Dominion Movement exposed the horrific abuse and violence taking place in the meat, dairy, egg, leather, wool, animal entertainment and racing industries.
“The event organizes activities aimed at teaching children to see non-human animals as food, objects, goods, machines and entertainment. An example of such brainwashing is learning how to milk a cow for children.
Week-long animal abuse events include horse jumping, camel riding, sheep shearing competitions, “sheep” judging, “beef” judging, dairy cattle judging, “poultry” fairs, hunting shows, dog judging, and sheep trials Yard dogs, animal parade and enslavement of young animals separated from their mothers on a pet farm.
Today, animal rights activists have targeted the judging cycle of “beef” cattle where they are judged based on how well their muscle and meat look for human consumption. They are seen only as things and commodities; But in reality they are conscious individuals who are the victims of this Holocaust.
“We are here to speak on their behalf because they cannot speak for themselves.
“If you are not a vegetarian, you are the abuser of animals.”
Peterson has also organized a series of protests at a Louis Vuitton store in Perth, including one where she She smeared what she claimed was her blood and entered the store.
She was charged with disorderly conduct.
She wrote on Instagram on September 13: “I appeared in court this morning – I will be back in court on October 5th… and I intend to plead not guilty to both counts.”
