Two top drug dealers and three others arrested – CBS Tampa

Polk County, Florida (CW44 News at 10) – On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and High Density Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA) made five arrests during a drug smuggling investigation that began in late October. .

Investigators began their investigation after learning that large quantities of drugs had been sold from a home located at 206 Colorado Avenue in Lakeland.

During the investigation, secret representatives identified 55-year-old Lisa Radina from Lakeland as a local drug dealer/dealer who sold methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl. During their interaction, Radina asks an undercover detective to drive her to her supplier’s home on 206 Colorado Avenue in order to pick up about 7 grams of fentanyl. That’s when detectives learned that Radina’s supplier was 41-year-old Nario Lewis from Lakeland.

On November 23research and development Investigators obtained a search warrant for Lewis’ home and arrested Radina, who at the time of the arrest possessed 12 grams of fentanyl.

While carrying out the arrest warrant, Nario Lewis attempted to escape through the back door with a backpack, but was soon caught. During a backpack search, investigators found large quantities of illegal drugs:

* One kilogram of methamphetamine
* 75 grams of cocaine powder
20 grams of cocaine
* 75 grams of fentanyl powder 175 grams of suspected fentanyl pills
* 392 grams of proven fentanyl pills (about 1 pound)

Inside the house, investigators also seized about one pound of marijuana and a handgun (Lewis is a convicted felon). Nario Lewis was arrested and transferred to the Polk County Jail.

While the detective was executing the search warrant, 54-year-old Kevin Mason of Lakeland arrived home on a bicycle. When the detective in the sheriff’s office jacket asked him why he was there, Mason told the detective that he wanted to buy $100 worth of drugs. A search in a Mason bag revealed illegal Xanax, carisoprodol, and methamphetamine. Mason was arrested and transferred to the Polk County Jail.

“Illicit drugs destroy lives and families, generate theft and violence in our community, and drug dealers profit from the destruction. I am proud of the good work our detectives have done to get these drugs off the street and send these smugglers to prison,”

41-year-old Nario Lewis is from Lakeland. It is charged with:

Lewis has a past criminal history that includes 22 felonies and 19 misdemeanors on counts of aggravated battery, indecent and corrupt behavior against a victim between the ages of 12 and 16, damaging evidence, breach of probation, and several counts of possession and sale of drugs. He was imprisoned in Florida State Prison 3 times.

55-year-old Lisa Radina from Lakeland. It is charged with:

  • Trafficking in methamphetamine
  • Fentanyl trafficking (2 counts)
  • Fentanyl traffic conspiracy (2 counts)
  • selling heroin
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Radena’s criminal history includes a federal drug-smuggling charge in Maryland, and four other drug-trafficking arrests in Maryland and New York.

54-year-old Kevin Mason is from Lakeland. It is charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance (two numbers)
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Mason’s criminal history includes 16 felony counts and 25 misdemeanors including fraud, grand theft auto, DUI, fleeing to evade, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting a law enforcement officer, driving with a suspended license, battery, petty theft, violation of surveillance, and many more counts Drug possession.

Two others were arrested while executing a search warrant at 206 Colorado Avenue, Lakeland:

Anaija Lewis is 18 years old from Lakeland. It is charged with:
