Actor Matthew Modine of “Full Metal Jacket” fame takes his craft very seriously.
A interviewer told Collider last year why he was so keen on his performance.
“When you’re standing on stage, when you’re shown on the motion picture screen, the things you do and the things you say will have an impact on those people’s lives,” Modine said.
He takes his Twitter feed a little less seriously.
The “Stranger Things” star has shared a series of questions related to the Kyle Rittenhouse case on the social media platform. The 18-year-old shot three people at the height of the Kenosha riots, killing two and wounding one. The teen’s claims of self-defense appear strong, according to court testimony.
This has not prevented the left from calling him a white supremacist killer, without evidence. The media coverage was terrible, with MSNBC anchors doing the most damage to the truth.

That may explain Modine’s stance on the high-profile trial. Consider this Tweet as a Viewer A that got his talking points from fake news outlets.
He is # Kyle Rittenhouse wearing surgical gloves?
If so why?
to cover his fingerprints?
Why is he holding a gun with bullets
Traveling to an event
Point the gun at the people
Pull the trigger of his gun
Unless he goes there
With intent to kill? pic.twitter.com/KUlOzp3zwi

The actor got a quick response from the post, mostly from people eager to educate him on all the mistakes made in that single tweet.
Your daily reminder that screenwriters often don’t get enough credit to make actors look smart on screen.

If you’ve researched anything about the issue at all, you’ll find all of your answers.
Here are some of the basics, as more details below:
He was in a riot with violent criminals.
He was providing free medical assistance to anyone who was injured.
Put out fires.
He was attacked and tried to escape.– vØidward 🕳️💫 (Voidward) November 16, 2021
I’ve seen a lot of bad situations about this today, but Hollywood has never failed to turn out to be the worst

Why do you wear a seat belt?
Do you intend to crash your car?
To cover yourself when you choose to crash?
drive somewhere
Why load the car with gas
speed up something
The car you were wearing has crashed
Unless you enter
Intent to collapse?

Watch the trial. You will learn the truth. The media love to turn things into their narrative. Seriously, watch the trial.

Matthew, we got it, you haven’t watched the trial and you’re getting all your information from your comfortable echo chamber.

Tell me you haven’t watched a single minute of the trial, and you want your voice to sound awake, without actually telling me…….

Modine isn’t the only celebrity to attack Rittenhouse without a full set of facts available to them. stars like John CusackAnd Dave Bautista, Vincent Donofrio, Rosanna ArquetteGeorge Takei and Katie Stoll were similarly criticized on social media.
