Tottenham player ratings: Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Sanchez hits poor after Red Sessegnon.

Pierluigi Gulini

He could only see Horvat’s short sail after 11 minutes. Other than watching another effort drift away, he didn’t have much to do until once again he was only able to watch Marosa’s shot veered in front of him to win it for the lower ranked team in the competition. 5

Japhet Tanganga

He started to the right of a triple defender but switched to the left of a quadruple defender after Sessegnon’s red card. Then he moved to the right-back after a series of substitutions early in the second half. He pushed high on the court and tried to get ahead but he just doesn’t have the quality in those situations. 6

Davinson Sanchez

Some defended Mora’s goal early on, even before he backed off. Fortunately I survived the fifty-second minute of the execution. He improved as the match went on but threw everything away as he was flipped in the final seconds before deflecting Marosa’s shot past Giulini. 3

Joe Rodon

One unsettled moment early on, but she felt pretty rough before she was taken off just seven minutes into the second half with the others. 5

Matt Doherty

He had some good positions on the right but wasn’t very good on the last ball. Also hooked at 52 minutes. 4

Tanguy Ndombele

Back in the team, the Frenchman played a superb ball over the top for Gil early in the game but the Spaniard couldn’t capitalize. I went on a few driving tours that opened Mura. I walked away with 15 minutes to go after I at least tried to make things happen. 5

Oliver Skip

Set up Kane for a chance in the penalty area in the first half. He worked incredibly hard in a ungrateful role in midfield. Some choppy passes but he was one of Spurs’ best players. 6

Ryan Sessegnon

Such a disappointing return to the starting lineup. A shot was blocked early in the penalty area but did indeed receive one yellow card and in just 32 minutes collected another for an unnecessary hasty challenge outside the box. 2

Brian Gill

He cut a good opportunity early from over the crossbar after Ndombele hit the crossbar. He created some half chances for others as the first half continued. I got hooked into the four-way replacement. 5

Harry King

He struggled to get into the game in the first half until he took Skipp’s pass into the penalty area and turned around before firing off the right post. He advanced in the second half with Lucas and Son around him and his equalizing goal was a superb shot over the goalkeeper from a narrow angle. He had a number of decent half chances in the second half that he should have done better. 6

Daily Alli

Some nice touches in the first half but he contributed little to the match. It’s hard to see where he fits into this formation. 3

Son Heung Min

Soon after coming, he embarked on a dazzling run through half of Mura and the box before forcing the goalkeeper into a quick save. 5

Lucas Moura

His pass was the one that both Mura’s defenders left for each other and went to Kane for the settlement. A couple of drive passes but he couldn’t find his way out, with a late shot sailing. 5

Eric Dyer

It came and was solid in the back for visitors. 6

Ben Davies

He pushed high on the court but like Tanganga and Doherty, his last ball wasn’t good enough. It was his slip that allowed Mora to break to win the match. 4

Pierre-Emile Hojberg

He came in with 15 minutes left and tried hard near the halfway line in the last five minutes of normal time. Unavailable
