Tottenham follow Arsenal’s lead with £70m striker among five bragging signings

Tottenham will aim to take a page out of Arsenal’s book after their transfer strategy was revealed which would see the £70m striker join as one of five potential new deals, according to a report.

Arsenal spent around £140m in the summer on six new deals. Each of the six was under 24 years old at the time, and the bulk of those new faces are already having an immediate impact under Mikel Arteta.

currently, according to the sunSpurs aims to provide Antonio Conte with a similar set of results in the market.

They claim Spurs have “identified” five rising stars across Europe “all of whom are being looked at for potential moves”. Following Arsenal’s lead, both quintiles are aged 25 or younger, although more than everyone will be able to get straight into Conte’s first eleven.

Clinical Archer Will Challenge Harry Kane

The name that grabbed the headlines on the list is Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.

Spurs’ links with the Serbian killer are nothing new. Vlahovic was described as Harry Kane’s successor when he was linked with Manchester City over the summer.

Despite the move unraveling, reports have persisted linking Vlahovic to Tottenham and he appears set to move forward in the summer after that. He rejected the offer of the last Fiorentina contract.

His 14 goals in 16 games this season proved that his brilliant season last year wasn’t just a fluke. However, he will get a whopping £70m fee and he is also on the radars of Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United.

The names of her fellow Serie A teammates, Nicolo Barilla and Frank Casey, were verified in the report.

Getting Parilla out of Inter would be an expensive undertaking. This seems especially true after the elegant midfielder penned a new deal at the start of November.

On the other hand, Kessie looks more attractive. The Ivory Coast Warrior’s contract will expire next summer, so he will be available for free. Alternatively, Spurs could look to steal a rally on their other suitors by penalizing the January transfer at a discounted rate.

Defensive destroyers are removed from the list of Tottenham Hotspurs

The last two names mentioned are Denis Zakaria from Borussia Moenchengladbach and Kim Min Jae from Fenerbahce.

Zacharias’ story echoes Casey’s, with the impending Swiss star as a free agent next summer. The versatility of Zacharias being able to work in a triple or midfield position can be very beneficial for Conti.

Finally, the South Korean Kim – nicknamed “The Beast” due to his standing 6 feet 3 inches tall – could complete the splurge. While it is not known if it will have any tangible impact, the article concludes that Kim is someone Son Heung Min knows well and could therefore theoretically push Spurs towards signing.

Tottenham chase rebellious Napoli contract

In the meantime, Tottenham are planning to pounce on the rebels contracted by Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, according to a report in Italy.

The 30-year-old Italy striker’s contract will expire next summer, but he has been offered new terms to stay with the Serie A club. But so far no agreement has been reached and it is believed that the player is looking at alternative options.

market transfer Claim Napoli’s bid is around €5 million, plus €1.5 million in bonus, so it’s less than their current offer of €5 million per season.

Speaking about the player, Inter president Giuseppe Marotta told DAZN: “It’s an opportunity in general. It’s up to me and Ausilio to take advantage of it. But situations must be accommodated if the conditions are right for that.”

But the arrival of Spurs to the table and Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici could speed up a conclusion.

Newcastle and West Ham were also mentioned in the report, while Everton were previously interested.
