Tickets sold for $489,000 at Vons

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A five-digit ticket, but missing a Powerball number, was sold in a multi-state Powerball lottery draw Monday evening at a supermarket in San Diego and is valued at $489,235.

Ticket sold at Vons Market at 665 Saturn Blvd.

Tickets with five numbers, but missing a Powerball number, sold in other states are worth at least $1 million, but California law requires large lottery bonuses to be paid on an equal footing.

The Multi-State Lottery Association, which operates the game, announced that no tickets were sold in all six numbers and the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is expected to increase to $123 million.

The numbers drawn on Monday were 10, 15, 51, 61, 69 and the Powerball number was 14. The jackpot was $113 million.

This fee was the eleventh since the six-digit ticket was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and a Powerball number are 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The total chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.

Powerball is played in 45 states, in the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
