This life-like robot is scaring everyone with its realism.

Engineered Arts, a UK-based robotics company, has debuted a humanoid robot called Amica, and it is making people very nervous.

In a video posted on the Vimeo Channel of Engineering Arts, you can see Ameca “awake” and see yourself with realistic human expression. Although everything from the neck to the bottom of Amika is robotic, her face is designed to look very human and the video ends with the American audience watching with a smile.

Ameka’s responses range from impressed to frightening anyone who has watched an HBO West World episode or read a sci-fi novel.

On the Engineering Arts website, the company says Ameka is the “face of the future of robotics” and “the world’s most advanced humanoid robot.”[.]Ameca also incorporates artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Ameca is being touted as a “tremendous attraction”, and is modular to allow future upgrades, both physically and software, to enhance Ameca’s capabilities.[.]So if your sci-fi adventure theme park needs a robot with human-like impressions, Engineered Arts has a product for you.
