Thirty-six states have sued Google over how it manages its Play Store, blaming both users and app developers.

“App stores have long been given a pass to abuse their dominant market position,” Meghan Demozio, executive director of the App Fairness Alliance, said in a statement. “Their competitive policies prevent innovation, impede consumer freedom, raise prices and limit transparent communication between developers and their consumers.”
