The Wrigley Building celebrates its 100th anniversary

The Wrigley Building celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. “This building ushered in a new era in Chicago,” says historian Tim Samuelson. “The opening of the Michigan Avenue Bridge in 1920 gave rise to development north of the river, and the Magnificent Mile began.”
