Solard’s Oktoberfest has come and gone, but Urban Chestnut Brewing Company It gives you a second chance this weekend if you miss the festivities.
From 12 to 10 pm ten Oktoberfest Urban Chestnut Brewing Company Bringing beer to St. Louis – but for the first time, the festival will take place in Grove & Bierhall brewery (4465 Manchester Street). Attending the festival is free.
Oktoberfest wouldn’t be complete without beer and plenty will flow in Bierhall. The award-winning O-Katz Oktoberfest Lager, Schnickelfritz Bavarian Weissbier and the award-winning Zwickel Bavarian Lager are available in 16 ounces and 1 liter.
The music will span two phases, with a full range of genres including pop, polka, rock, and more. Among the artists, Brachaufen, So Grand Polka, Bobby Ford Band, Apex Shrine and School of Rock All Stars.
There is also a Stein-Holding competition that takes place on Saturday at Bierhall Terrace. Other activities include yard games and a pet-friendly leash station provided by BarK. Purina will offer pet treats in case your four-legged friends want a snack. However, if you get hungry, plenty of German food is waiting for you: sausages, long Polish sausages, pretzels, pulled pork, and cheese are all available for purchase.
