The rumored iPhone 14 Pro may look like a hole punch display.
With rumors circulating that the iPhone 14 Pro will launch a brand new screen design, well-connected Ben Gaskin has taken a look at what the new display might look like.
Gaskin has used the current rumors to redesign the iPhone 14 Pro and create a selfie camera image. Although he claims that the render is not based on “any original or unknown Apple product,” IPhone X. Its render is reminiscent of a dual selfie cam on the Galaxy S10 +, with a bullet-shaped camera cutout that floats near the top of the display.
However, while Samsung’s long oval cutout was annoying and added a bit of usefulness to the selfie cam, a centered cutout with Face ID hardware would be a welcome change in the sign of old age.

It’s not clear if Apple will go that route – Gaskin himself. First tweeted about a prototype. It hides all the relevant True Depth camera sensors in the upper bezel – but it would be a good deal if that happened. The cutout is significantly smaller than the iPhone 13’s mark and will leave space at the top for the status bar.
Although there are many rumors about the adoption of these display fingerprint scanners for Apple’s future iPhones, it seems that Apple will use this technology in the iPhone SE. After explaining the benefits of Face ID, it would be a strange move for Apple to leave Face ID on its flagship phones.
But Gaskin’s offer would be a good deal. This will significantly reduce the size of the token while still retaining the Face ID as a biometric verifier. With smaller camera cutouts, the iPhone 14 will look quite different, with bezels that look more uniform and an experience that is even deeper.
