Sony reportedly plans to launch a new subscription game service for it. PlayStation Consoles It will compete with Microsoft Xbox game pass. The new service, which is expected to launch next year, will allow people to pay a monthly subscription fee to gain “access to the catalog of modern and classic games,” according to a Bloomberg report on Friday.

The new service will reportedly integrate existing Sony subscriptions. PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. Both PS Plus and PS Now offer online access to games, but they have very little overlapping content. According to Bloomberg, Sony intends to stick with the PlayStation Plus branding but eliminates the PlayStation Now.

The new service is reportedly expected to be available on PS5 and PS4. According to Bloomberg, Sony will offer three levels of the new service, although it is not clear how much each level will cost. Both PS Plus and PS Now are currently priced at $ 10 a month or $ 60 a year.

The first tier will reportedly include the current benefits of the PS Plus, while the second will offer a larger catalog of PS4 and PS5 games. According to Bloomberg, the third category will include “Extended Demo, Game Streaming and Library of Classic PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP Games”.
