Police said that at around 10:20 a.m. on the 100th block of East Seventh Street, officers responded to a possible domestic violence incident, arriving to learn that the Oakland man that Oakland police officers were looking for was holding a 21- and 3-year-old woman. old against their will.
When the officers tried to talk to the man, he barricaded himself inside a house. In a separate search warrant that began around 6 a.m., the Antioch Police SWAT team submitted a warrant for illegal firearms to a home in the 5100 block of Deerspring Way.
After that search yielded a revolver, magazines, and a drum-style rifle magazine, men aged 22 and 23 were arrested and detained on suspicion of multiple counts. Police said the two were booked into the Martinez County Jail.
