The Florida Panthers are the best sports team in South Florida right now

Are you a disgruntled Miami Dolphins fan fed up with all the lost rumors and Deshaun Watson?

Maybe you’re a Hurricanes fan and can’t stand watching Mane Diaz coach another game.

Perhaps you are a Marlins fan who is tired of telling your baseball team after two years of being away from you.

Well, Miami sports fans, we’ve got just the thing for you: Introducing the Florida Panthers, a professional hockey team on the Ring Road in scenic Sunrise, Florida!

Anyone can turn their attention to the Miami Heat when things fall aside. But maybe—maybe—this is the year you should give the South Florida National Hockey League a bigger slice of your attention. Here’s why.

There’s no better time to jump in the cart

If you’ve lived in South Florida for years but never cared for leopards, now would be as good a time as ever to go ahead and fix that. You’ll jump on the wagon at the best time.

The Panthers are probably one of the best teams in the NHL this season. If you are looking for some relief from all the losses that hurricanes, dolphins and marlins have brought into your life, then head over to some leopard games and enjoy some much-needed breath of fresh air.

We promise no one will judge you if you join now.

Panthers already have elite talent on their list

If you listen to Manny Diaz talk about hurricane issues, his promise is that things will one day get better once the current kids he’s recruited graduate, move into day jobs, and bring in new recruits. It is never his fault. He just needs a better talent. Marilyn’s family has been promising to spend on talent for years. Maybe this is off season? We will not hold our breath. dolphins? They’ll blow first-round picks under GM Chris Grier into 2030 at this rate.

The Panthers already have the best talent in the league, and they’ve been locked up for years.

Aaron Eckblad and Alexander “Sasha” Barkoff are two of the elite NHL players you can count on being at Sunrise every season. Barkov, specifically, is just getting a new eight-year deal. Pair these two stars with an assortment of other talented Cheetahs and you’ll have a solid core.

Panthers are the closest thing South Florida has to the “Big Three” at the moment.

Panthers have them Pat Riley in general manager Bill Zito

If you’re going to invest in another team in South Florida and open yourself up (let’s face it) more pain, it’s good to know that the team’s decision-making process is in good hands. At GM Bill Zito, the Panthers have one of the best front office minds in all of professional hockey.

From re-signing Sasha Barkov to drafting Spencer Knight to picking Ryan Lomberg to trading for players like Sam Bennett, every button Zito pushed in his time with Florida seemed to hit the right note.

The Panthers have the best competition in South Florida sports

Hit Knicks? Dolphin-Jets? Seminole hurricanes? Marlins Braves?

All Miami rivalries come with some juice to them, but currently nothing is as exciting as a Panthers-Lightning rivalry. Anyone who watched a Panthers-Lightning playoff game last season knows nothing to compare to the intensity of a match between the contenders in Florida.

Not only that, but there is real fighting involved (as opposed to a group of adult men who pretend they want to smoke knowing it never will).

Panthers-Lightning is without a doubt the best ticket in town right now.

The next showdown will take place on Saturday, November 13, at the Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa.

The Panthers have the best Play-by-Play sound in town

Let’s be honest: The Miami Heat are no longer the best TV team in town. The Florida Panthers hold this title with the incredible calls of Steve Goldstein.

The Marlins are a veritable revolving door of talent that can hardly be heard, and there is no local Dolphins TV cast. The Heat has made several changes to both TV and radio broadcasts lately, and it shows. Cheetahs are the ones who consistently deliver the most exciting and well-thought-out viewing experience these days.

There is a new king in town.
