The Everton midfielder is targeted for a loan before the 11pm transfer deadline

Everton midfielder Lewis Warrington is a loan target for both Tranmere Rovers and Fleetwood Town.

The 19-year-old has been impressing the Blues Under-23 side on a regular basis and can now be set for a spell in the Football League until the end of the season.

Tranmere is second in League Two while Fleetwood is 19th in the above division.

Warrington played 13 times in the English Premier League 2 this season and participated in three matches in the English Football League Cup, for the Blues.

And if the loan move is completed before the 11pm deadline, it would mark the first transition to senior football in Warrington’s career.

The Wirral-born midfielder only made his debut for the Everton Under-23s in April, but he’s made significant progress in that time and is now preparing for a short spell in the Football League.
