DENVER (KDVR) — If they haven’t left already, parents in Colorado better bet they get ready for what could be a crazy rush of retailers for Black Friday sales.

With a short supply chain and a tight inventory, many moms and dads are trying to make sure the gifts are shut down on their kids’ birthday lists this year.

Without a doubt, things will be chaotic. After all, there are a lot of popular toys and games that children are in demand this year.

With the big sale still going on through Black Friday, the available items may not last.

According to the NDP Group, 86% of people plan to spend an average of $785 on holiday gifts.

Not surprisingly – some of the biggest orders are for the Playstation 5, the new Nintendo Switch OLED system, and the Xbox One.

These items experts say you should get them and buy them right away if you can find them on store shelves or online.

The thing is, if you could lock down one of those consoles, buying games would be easy – given the way most systems allow you to download purchases these days.
