BOSTON (WHDH) – Police have arrested a Randolph man for working under the influence after finding him asleep behind the wheel of a Matapan Thursday morning.
Marshaly Dauphin, 29, has been arrested on firearm and motor vehicle charges.
Officers responded to a report of a person who died behind the wheel of a car near the intersection of Wellington Hill Street and Dering Road, and found Dauphin asleep inside the car, with the engine and brake lights on, according to Boston police.
Police said that while conducting an on-site investigation, officers found a .40 FN FNX-40-caliber pistol from inside the car.
Dauphin will appear in Dorchester County Court on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
