MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – The biggest day of deals and heists – Black Friday is finally here.

A Walmart in Miami Gardens was already full before 7 a.m., Friday.

Lots of people are waiting to get in as soon as the doors open.

“I got up too early to be here,” said Claudette Fassel, who was buying a TV at BrandsMart in Miami Gardens. “Last year, because of the pandemic, I couldn’t be here, you know, happy to be alive this year so grateful.”

Some shoppers have been in line since four in the morning

“Because I want to get my PS5 out of here,” said one of the kids.

“They said there are sales here today, so let’s see, we’ll find out,” said shopper JC Cruz.

“I came out with $2,000, it’s a good deal,” said Roberto Ferreira.

Ferreira said he has a lot to be grateful for. He, his wife, and their three children all have COVID-19.

“Thank you that we survived the coronavirus,” he said. “We’ve been with COVID for the past eight months, I think.

The National Retail Federation predicts there will be nearly two million more people shopping compared to last year between Thanksgiving and Cyber ​​Monday.

“We’ve got a ramp that enables us to actually bring merchandise from the warehouse to the ground,” said BrandsMart USA Senior Vice President of Marketing, Angus Bryan.
