Sling TV’s new UI officially launches on Fire TV devices
Sling TV’s redesign app is now live on all Firefox devices. With an improved grid guide, more personalized features, and an easy-to-navigate interface, the new app is a big improvement over older UIs that are still used on Roku, Android TV, and other streaming hardware. Is.
We first heard of Sling’s redesigned app in May, when it developed the Beta program for Fire TV users to choose from. The biggest change in this new app, with the exception of the Dark Paint job, which is easy on the eyes, is a new navigation bar on the left side of the screen. This bar replaces the navigation menu at the top that used to be on Sling TV and has a DVR tab – no more digging around this DVR menu.
The Grid Guide has also been improved, with a description of each channel, large text and a Favorites button to help you quickly find the channels you care about (on Apple TV). Debut favorite, still using the old app). A new top bar for Channel Guide lets you replace old and annoying filter buttons with games and access recent categories.
Fire TV users can now enjoy the new Sling app. It will arrive in Roko later this summer and will eventually find its way to both Apple TV and Android TV devices.
