CASTAIC (CBSLA) – SigAlert was issued in response to a wildfire off Interstate 5, north of Castillac, with southbound lanes on Vista Del Lago and northbound lanes on Templin Highway closed for an unknown period of time.
The Los Angeles Fire Department’s Air Operations Division assists National Forest Service firefighting crews in Los Angeles with what’s called the #RouteFire.
The Santa Clarita Valley Police Department tweeted that the fire is now 50 acres with structures threatened.
It is currently unclear how the fire started.
