Charlotte, NC – Several American Airlines flights arriving in and departing from Charlotte Douglas International Airport were delayed or canceled on Friday night and Saturday morning, According to Charlotte Airport flight tracker.
More than a dozen arrivals and departures have been canceled so far in Charlotte Douglas. The cancellations included flights to and from multiple other airports.
Some frustrated passengers have taken to Twitter, asking for answers from the airline.
Nationwide, hundreds of American Airlines flights appear to have been affected by cancellations or delays. Additionally, more than 1,000 Southwest Airlines flights were delayed across the country on Friday night.
WCNC Charlotte has contacted American Airlines for information about the reason for the cancellation.
