Royal family news – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be popular in the UK thanks to an ‘endless pity party’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could face a lawsuit if they call the ‘royal racist’ ‘stuck on Archie’s skin’

A senior lawyer said it was time for the royal family to “step up” when it came to dealing with the Sussex family.

It comes after an updated chapter in the unauthorized biography Finding Freedom revealed that the couple discussed identifying who questioned them prior to Archie’s birth.

However, it was reported that they finally chose not to.

Mark Stephens, who represented James Hewitt when allegations of his affair with Diana surfaced, said: mail + An individual can file a lawsuit for defamation and invasion of privacy.

“First of all, the exact words that were said, and the context in which they were taken, must be determined. Was it racist or just an inquiry?” He said.

Intent will be key to the court when deciding the case.

“Maybe the words were racist in nature but were they intended that way?” He said.

“What you will essentially find is that an individual, if named, might be able to file a lawsuit for defamation and breach of privacy if it was a private conversation between two people where there was a reasonable expectation for privacy and for the contents of the conversation not to be shared with a third party, the media.”
