Richard Branson defeated Jeff Bezos to the edge of space. Here’s how Virgin Galactic’s projects pile up to Blue Origin and SpaceX.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX may be the happiest name in private space exploration, but Tesla’s CEO isn’t the only super-rich businessman who has a grand vision for the future of humanity beyond the Earth’s environment.
Richard Branson, who is obsessed with everything from Virgin Group airlines to healthcare, started his own commercial spacelight company called Virgin Galactic. On Sunday, they launched the company’s rocket-propelled grenade at a distance of 87 km from the surface, fulfilling a decades-long dream of space travel.
Amazon founder and fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos owns a space company – Blue Orion, and plans to fly to the edge of space on its inaugural human flight in July.
The three companies formed within a few years of each other in the early 2000s, but each has its own business model and is planning for the future of space.
Musk, Bezos and Branson are trying to meet each other, and that’s where their efforts stand today.
Musk founded SpaceX in 2002, a few years before he became Tesla’s outspoken CEO and established himself as a regular reality in Twitter Spare.
The company is embroiled in the idea that Musk had to send a spacecraft to the Red Planet called the “Mars Oasis”. The vehicle will provide experimental greenhouses and equipment to take pictures of the planet and send them back to Earth. Musk hopes the project will give the US government a new interest in coming to Mars.
He promised ڈالر 20 million for the mission – and did not take advantage of Russia’s purchase of some refurbished intercontinental ballistic missiles – but discovered that the project was out of his budget. He founded SpaceX to develop a reusable rocket that would reduce the cost of launching people and objects into space.
Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX has spent the better part of its efforts over the past two decades, and has made some great progress.
It completed numerous launches for commercial and government customers and in 2012 became the first private company to send a spacecraft to the International Space Station. In 2020, it became the first to send humans to space and ISS. And in April, NASA chose the company to land the first astronauts to the moon since 1972.
SpaceX is also working on a broadband Internet service with thousands of satellites, called StarLink. The service is expected to provide high-speed Internet in remote and rural areas, and SpaceX recently said it has more than 500,000 orders and reserves.

Settlers are preparing the company for deep space travel using a fleet of 1000 SpaceX Starship – a powerful, 117.96 meter long rocket spacecraft. .
Like Musk, Amazon billionaire Bezos’ passion for space travel has spanned decades. They have been taken in particular by physicist Jared O’Neill’s idea of floating space stations, which could hold trillions of people when the earth’s resources run out.
To quell his obsession, Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000. The Musk project was launched with the same goal: to make the search for space cheaper through boosters that will be available for future launches. There may be bicycles. Kent, based in Washington, remained almost secretive in 2003, and Bezos has been obsessed with his plans for more than a decade.
For many years now, the company has been testing a submarine rocket called the New Shepherd, which aims to eventually bring paid tourists to the edge of space in a pressure capsule. Passengers will be able to see a glimpse of the earth through large windows and experience a few minutes of weightlessness.
A private astronaut explained why his next flight – possibly with Tom Cruise – was “forever banning commercial human space lighting”.
In May, Blue Origin announced that the first flight would take place on July 20 and the first seat would be auctioned off for charity. Bids for the ticket have reached 30 3 million, and Bezos said in June that he and his brother Mark would take part in the flight.

In 2019, Bezos unveiled plans for a lunar lander called Blue Moon, which the company says will be ready in 2024 and will help establish a “sustainable human presence” on the moon. Blue Origin was bidding for a deal to land blue astronauts on the moon and was defeated by SpaceX – but the company is disagreeing with the decision.
When Bezos plans to step down as CEO of Amazon in 2021, he says he plans to devote more time to other projects, including Blue Origin. And in a 2018 interview with Mathis Dopner, CEO of Insider’s parent company, Axel Springer, Bezos called the rocket company his “most important job.”
Branson’s space plan differs from Blue Origin and SpaceX in some important ways. Instead of launching people and salaries in the Virgin Galactic space, the submarine focuses on tourism. It has a completely different way of sending spacecraft from the Earth’s atmosphere.
Unlike its rivals, the Virgin Galactic does not launch rockets directly from the ground. Instead, his spacecraft is to be flown up to 50,000 feet by a large, dual-body jet called the White Kite Two. From there, the plane detaches for a few seconds before moving on to its rocket motor and approaching 91,440.00 meters from the start of a near vertical climb, and then moves on.
The company completed its first full-fledged space flight on the edge of space on Sunday, sending its founder and others more than 80 kilometers to Skyland. Virgin Galactic plans to accept passengers in 2021, moving those plans forward the following year. It sold 600 tickets for 200,000 to 250,000 ap.
When the spacecraft reaches its final height, users will be able to get out of their seats and spend several minutes floating around the luxurious cabin and looking out on the ground or in space. Virgin also plans to offer flights for research purposes. Once the spacecraft is retracted into Earth’s atmosphere, it will be launched back to Virgin’s New Mexico facility for runway landing.
The Virgin Galactic spacecraft is reusable without its fuel, and the company hopes to make launching space objects and people more economically and environmentally stable.
In March, Virgin Galactic unveiled the VSS Imagine, the first of its next-generation spaceship III. Earlier, it had built and flown two spaceships, including the VSS Enterprise, which crashed in 2014 in a fatal crash.
In the future, Virgin Galactic plans to launch a fleet of vehicles that could take tourists to space hotels, take researchers to floating labs, or provide lightning-fast transcontinental flights. In 2017, it terminated the work of a company called Virgin Orbit, which is working to send a satellite into orbit using a similar air launch system.
