Read the script and press the buttons

It made sense to hire phone sellers and give them a script. Throw enough human spam on the population and sooner or later, you can benefit.

The guy who answered my web question the other day was doing a great job working with his script. It didn’t really look like that, but he was grabbing bits and pieces and pushing hard.

He was listening to what he was not doing.

He was not empowered or trained to ask questions, and he used every conversation break to read another part of his script.

And no matter what I said when I spoke, it came back to the script.

This is a waste. Ruin for me, ruin for him and ruin for those who hired him.

Sales have been going on for a long time. They are not going away. But they work best when they are emotionally transmitted, a real human connection and dialogue.

If you are going to read only one script, it is better to put it on your website instead.
