Rafa Benitez confirms Alan injury as Everton grow anxious in midfield

Alan had to receive treatment for a muscle injury at Finch’s farm on Thursday.

And while Everton manager Rafael Benitez hopes the midfielder will be properly passed to face Brentford on Sunday, he was unable to say whether the Brazilian would be in the squad.

It is known that Alan received a muscle complaint in the defeat against Manchester City.

Everton were late in midfield with Abdoulaye Doukuri, Andre Gomez and Tom Davies out due to injury.
