Patriot missiles fall from free Odell Beckham Jr. agency lottery, says report – Boston Herald
As of Wednesday morning, free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Signing with the Patriots, according to ESPN’s Diana Rossini.
Instead, Beckham is said to “sharpen” Chiefs, Packers, and Saints. His previous camp discussions with the Patriots were on an exploratory level, according to The Athletic. Beckham cleared the concessions on Tuesday, after Brown released him with $7.25 million remaining on his contract.

The Patriots currently have a full slate, with midfielder Jarrett Stidham revitalized from a physically unable to play roster on Tuesday. If they sign with Beckham, Butts will have made six broadlists unless they release them or put one in injured reserve first, most likely N’Keal Harry or returning Specialist Gunner Olszewski.
Instead, they’ll go ahead with this pair, Nelson Agulor, Jacoby Myers and Kendrick Bourne. The Patriots are also certainly working to generate more receiving production from tight end Juno Smith, who earned 21 passes for 193 yards and touchdowns after becoming the third highest paid tight end in the league this off season.
