Former striker Jason Conde said PSG should sell Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid and do his best for Harry Kane.
TalkSPORT understands Madrid offer 160 million pounds for Mbappe, who told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to leave this summer.
The Ligue 1 giants want to maintain their 22-year-old feel, but with less than a year left on his contract, they risk losing one of the world’s most valuable players for nothing next year.
Madrid’s move is fantastic considering they could negotiate a pre-contract agreement with the French star in January in exchange for a free transfer next July.
Conde said: “If you offer that money to a player who has less than a year on his contract, and you turn it down, it doesn’t make business sense.
“He’ll leave, he’ll dig his heels, and the relationship between the pair looks like it could completely fall apart.”
It is understood that Madrid have timed their offer so that PSG can buy a replacement, with one week left in the transfer window.
Kane’s desire to leave Tottenham is no secret, but it appears that Manchester City’s reluctance to meet the England captain’s £150m price tag will continue.
Suddenly, PSG could be in the market for a world-class striker, with the funds readily available to pay £150m on Kane.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would be more than willing to do business with a foreign club to prevent his star player from joining an English rival.
While Kane has spoken of his desire to stay in the Premier League, the opportunity to play alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar – as well as a host of other superstars – could be tempting.
Conde added: “Paris Saint-Germain must take the money and must sign Kane.
“If they want to go and sign someone now, they really want to replace him, Kane is as good as anyone they can get now.
“The only problem is whether Kane wants to go to PSG.”
