North Pond in Lincoln Park is almost ready for restoration

North Pond, a staple in Chicago’s largest park, dry up, which suffers from bank erosion and algal blooms that harm the diverse wildlife habitat in the region. The pond, which is lined with wildflowers and visited by migratory birds, is about 2 to 3 feet deep and should be refilled with municipal water.
