Nintendo Switch Joey Con Drift Hack seems to solve this problem completely
The Joey Con Drift has been one of the biggest problems in the Nintendo Switch era, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, even with a new console model along the way. Fortunately, it seems that YouTuber may have found a solution to this problem using cardboard. The VK channel has shared a video in which a millimeter piece of cow is applied inside Joey-Con, causing problems with detachment. From what can be seen in the video, the simple default motion completely rejects the move! At the top of this page can be found around the six minute mark in the video.
Since its inception more than four years ago, Switch has been a major source of frustration for Joey Con Drift players. Nintendo is aware of this problem, and fixes it for free, but for those who don’t want to send it, fix it, it can be a beautiful solution. Now, it’s worth noting that I haven’t personally tried this method, and opening the Joey Con controller will end Nintendo’s warranty. Readers will definitely want to keep this in mind before trying this method for themselves!
For those unfamiliar with the Joey Con Drift, this is an issue where the Joey Con controller’s reaction seems to be pushing the user control stick, but not putting real pressure. As a result, the character in the game moves to the “side”. For those who don’t experience anxiety, it’s easy to see how frustrating it can be for consumers!
The Nintendo Switch has been a huge success for Nintendo, keeping its predecessors at bay, and offering an impressive sports library. Joey ConDroft has been an unfortunate note in console history, especially for those who have dealt with it. Some have had this problem many times, resulting in lawsuits against Nintendo. While this may seem like a no-brainer, at least switch owners have an option that goes away easily!
