Come on in, take a look and enjoy yourself!
The holiday season will not be complete without changing the ring tone of your doorbell to seasonal bells which will definitely upset the rest of the family. If you own a wired or battery-powered Nest Doorbell, now is the time to go to the Nest app and choose your seasonal theme.
As with previous years, the themes available include Hanukkah, New Year’s Eve, Christmas, Kwanza, and a general theme for winter. Each theme has different ringtones, such as Jingle Bells, Winter Sleighbells, Ma’oz Tzur, Hanukkah Dreidel, and Auld Lang Syne. Check out his voice in the video below …
What’s different this time around is that you don’t need a Nest Aware subscription to set up a seasonal theme – in the true spirit of the holidays, anyone can use them (provided you have a Nest Doorbell). Ringtones will also play throughout your home on your Google Nest speaker and display for all families to hear.
To change your ringtone to one of these seasonal themes, go to the Nest app, then go to. Setting > Device options > The doorbell theme. If you have one of the newer models, you can do the same with the Google Home app. They’ll be available until January 4, so make the most of them when you’re around.
Complete with a simple virtual remote.
