Motorcyclist killed after Indian president crashes on highway

A man has died after a fatal accident between a motorcycle and an SUV that occurred Saturday morning near Fort Washington on the Indian Head Highway, Prince George’s County Police said.

A man has died after a fatal accident between a motorcycle and an SUV that occurred Saturday morning near Fort Washington on the Indian Head Highway, police in Prince George’s County, Maryland, said.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene at about 10:50 a.m. after the two northbound cars collided, the report said. The collision caused the motorcyclist, an adult male, to be ejected from his motorcycle. The death of the knight, who was not identified at the scene, was announced.

Northbound Indian Head Hwy (MD 210) at Old Fort Road closed in the wake of the accident, but has since reopened.

County investigators remained at the scene until early Saturday afternoon to determine the situation that led to the accident.
