Microsoft is launching a free website builder.

Microsoft is entering the website builder business with a new website creation service.
The device will be part of Microsoft’s Digital Marketing Center, the company said in a blog post announcing the service, which it hopes to “eliminate cost barriers and provide small businesses with free and easy solutions.” You can take advantage to get started with a website.
Redmond-based software company follows WordPress, which launched the built-in WordPress.com service last January. However, unlike the WordPress service, Microsoft’s offer is completely free.
Advertising dollars.
Microsoft added that the new service could automatically import the majority of content, either from a business Facebook page or from an existing advertising campaign.
It will then use this information to create a complete website with the relevant layout. You can of course edit any content and choose another template to customize before publishing your website.
Although Microsoft has not stated that its purpose is to monetize the service, the fact remains that it operates under the umbrella of the Digital Marketing Center.
Digital Marketing Center is Microsoft’s advertising platform that helps create, implement and manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms and search engines. Microsoft seems to be hoping to raise advertising dollars as these small businesses feel the need to advertise their new websites.
That said, although the ability to create free websites is available to users around the world, the Digital Marketing Center currently only supports U.S. businesses that advertise in the United States.
