The seemingly endless international break is now a distant memory and a huge Premier League weekend awaits ChelseaJourney to fierce competitors Tottenham The choice of fixtures can be said.

leaders Manchester United They will look to consolidate their grip at the top of the table with a win over the former manager David Moyes At West Ham, while champions Manchester City can press their title rivals with three points at home to struggling Southampton.

After a miserable start to the season, 16th-placed Arsenal will be hoping to push themselves up to the top flight with a major away performance against Burnley and newly promoted Norwich can get their first points on the board with a score against Watford at Carrow Road.

Michael Owen set his expectations for BetVictor, started tackling Sunday’s delicious London derby and picked Chelsea to go up at Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal’s long-suffering fan base, who have had a particularly hard time lately, may want to skip Owen’s predictions for their trip to Turf Moor.

On the other hand, the former England striker supported both Manchester City and Liverpool to achieve comprehensive victories over Southampton and Crystal Palace, respectively.

Tottenham vs. Chelsea

Predict the result: Tottenham 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea are now looking for a team to beat for me. Defensively, they look very strong, they only conceded once, and that was a penalty against Liverpool. With Lukaku playing the way he is, this Chelsea team has no weaknesses.

Tottenham started the season well but the defeat to Palace was disappointing. They didn’t concede a goal, but the collapse the way they did, admitting ten men, must have been unsettling for Nuno.

At the moment, Chelsea does not appear to be losing. They haven’t lost to Tottenham in the league in three years and I don’t see that changing here. I imagine Tuchel’s men winning 2-1.

West Ham vs. Manchester United

Predict the result: West Ham 1-2 Manchester United

There is only one place to start, and that is the return of Cristiano Ronaldo. With three goals in three matches, the great man came back strong. I can’t say I’m surprised, I expected him to score more than 20 goals this season, maybe I’m wrong, maybe he’ll score 30! He may be 36 years old, but his high-level movement and striker instincts never age.

Speaking of strikers, Micael Antonio was in great shape for David Moyes’ squad. He always had the physical tools but now he is constantly adding goals, it must be a nightmare to play against.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Antonio score here but I still fantasize about United winning. United are the top scorer in the league and I think they will have a lot of firepower.

Burnley vs. Arsenal

Result Prediction: Burnley 2-1 Arsenal

Burnley started well at Goodison on Monday but Sean Dycke will be disappointed with their fading in that match. It was a rough start for them, but they made some decent deals near the end of the window, and I still trusted him to figure things out.

Arsenal may have beat Norwich last week, but I still don’t like them very much. A club like Arsenal has to score a lot more than just one goal in the first four games. There have been a lot of changes in the team and the stable side should help them.

Turf Moor will be in good sound for this game. These fans love to visit the big teams, and Arsenal are always vulnerable on these kinds of overseas trips. I imagine Burnley will get three vital points here.

Manchester City VS. Southampton

Predict the score: Manchester City 4-0 Southampton

Despite all the talk about City’s lack of attacking options, he is still the league’s top scorer and scored 6 goals in the Champions League on Wednesday. I still think there’s another level City must go to once the likes of De Bruyne and Foden are fully back up to speed. If City continues to improve, they will be the team to beat again this season.

These are now three consecutive drawings of saints. It’s solid but not surprising. They don’t compromise much, so if the likes of Adam Armstrong can start scoring, they should be safe this year.

That sounds like a comfortable win over City to me. They beat Southampton 5-2 here last season, but I don’t think it would be that way of scoring, I’m winning 4-0.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Result Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Crystal Palace

Call me biased but Liverpool are back to their best. I liked what I saw against Leeds and if they had taken more of their chances, they would have won five or six. Mohamed Salah is at the top of his game now and it seems that he will score in every game he plays. Liverpool had the most shots in the league and the most clean sheets, which is a good combination!

This was a fantastic Palace win against Tottenham last week and Patrick Vieira should feel his weight on his shoulders. Odsonne Edouard was clearly the star of the show and if he can maintain that form, Selhurst believers have a new hero.

The Palace is getting better with every match, but this would be a step too far. I don’t see anything but a comfortable win for the Reds.

Newcastle vs. Leeds

Predict the score: Newcastle 1-0 Leeds

Newcastle had a tough start to the season but some of their performances were good. I thought they were a little bad last week at Old Trafford but Steve Bruce must be interested in how many goals they score.

Speaking of letting in too many goals, Leeds have the same problem. I think the most worrying thing for Bielsa is that they don’t score as many goals as they did last season. We all know how Leeds love to play, but if they don’t score a lot of goals they will struggle.

I’m sure St James’ Park will be rocking in this match. This is a huge match for both sides as they look to start their seasons. I imagine Newcastle beat Newcastle 1-0.

Wolves vs. Brentford

Predict the score: Wolverhampton 1-0 Brentford

After losing three games in a row by 1-0, Wolverhampton finally beat Watford last week. They’ve played well all season and have taken the third most shots in the league this season. They need to start taking more of those shots into the net, but if they start doing that I’m sure they will move up the table.

That was a disappointing defeat last week for Brentford. I’m sure Thomas Frank would have targeted a home win against Brighton. However, it was a positive start for the newcomers and I’m sure they would have been happy with five points from four games at the start of the season.

I imagine wolves here though. I think they are in the wrong position at the moment and I expect them to beat Brentford 1-0.

Norway vs. Watford

Predict the score: Norwich 1-1 Watford

Can you get six bearish indicators in September? This definitely feels like one. These two walked out of the tournament together and they look so alike. Norwich have had a string of tough matches, but with only one goal scored, they desperately need more threats at the top.

The Watford team is inconsistent and I’m not quite sure what to do. When they are at their best, they can cause problems for most parties with the speed with which they occupy the top. They haven’t scored any goals since beating Villa on day one and I’d be worried if you were a Watford fan.

With the stakes so high in this confrontation, even early in the season, I think this is going to be a tough game. It’s hard to guess, so I’m sitting on the fence and I’m expecting a 1-1 draw!

Everton Benitez is fourth in the table (Picture: GETTY)

Aston VS Villa. Everton

Predict the score: Aston Villa 1-2 Everton

I have to say, I’ve never seen Everton make such a strong start under Rafa Benitez. I was expecting Rafa to make some improvements but sitting on top is an excellent start. He’s made some smart signings with Townsend and Gray being excellent players. Goodison Park is one of the toughest outings, believe me, and I think Everton will be in the top 6 this season.

Villa has been affected a bit and lost this season which is to be expected after a summer with so many details. They have some excellent players, and once Dean Smith can find the right start I expect them to push for the top eight.

There seems to be a real sense of complacency about Everton at the moment. It’s not easy, but I think they can outperform 2-1 by a narrow margin.

Brighton vs. Lister

Predict the score: Brighton 1-1 Leicester

Brighton had an excellent start to the season. They haven’t yet faced any top team, but nonetheless, three wins out of four is just the start that Graham Potter wanted. I said a lot last season that they aren’t risking enough chances, and I’m sure they would have drawn two games last season.

I was expecting more from Leicester to start the season. Of course, two wins out of four is by no means a bad comeback, but I think Brendan Rodgers was looking forward to more. The defeat to West Ham was disappointing and they threw no glove at Manchester City last week.

Brighton have never beaten Leicester in the Premier League, and I don’t think they will do that here. With Leicester in the European Championship on Thursday, there could be a bit of a burnout here. I can see a 1-1 tie.
