“I think the future will be built in some of these areas around the world that have historically been ignored and undervalued,” Archibong noted. “I firmly believe that new problems, solutions, opportunities, and experiences will be built by the people closest to the communities they are trying to serve.” He said these solutions would be “more permanent, more sustainable, and more viable” in the long term.

People who see working with us, an organization aligned with the mission with what they’re trying to do — an organization that’s probably very excited about similar technology trends, emerging platforms or user behavior,” he said.
Archibong said the company did not say how much capital it plans to spread out over any time period, but that the checks – like the teams themselves – would be “really very small”.
