Fan artist Anastasia Ivanova reimagines several Marvel heroes as Disney villains, including Tom Hiddleston Loki as Hades from Hercules.
A fan artist designed a six-piece series that reimagines it Marvel Cinematic Universe Heroes like villains from the Disney canon. There are certainly many heroes to choose from, considering that there are currently a total of 26 films in the franchise, which started over a decade ago with 2008. Iron Man. There are also 7 upcoming MCU movies with confirmed dates, and a myriad of movies in development, not to mention TV series, most of which are streaming on Disney+.
Disney hasn’t always had its current relationship with Marvel. Disney has acquired Marvel Entertainment In August of 2009, after the unpopular release Incredible Hulk, the film that has been reworked and ignored by the MCU in general. There was a gap of nearly two years between the structure and the next MCU movie, iron man 2, which then began building the shared universe that fans know and love today.
Find out the close relationship Marvel media now has with Instagram and Disney artists Anastasia Ivanova She shares some flawless artwork to re-imagine Marvel heroes as Disney villains. This project started around Halloween, with appropriate artwork Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch as a mischievous from sleeping Beauty, indicating the MCU’s descent into a potential villain. Now, Ivanova has developed designs that show Sam Wilson/Falcon as The Princess and the FrogDr. Facilier, Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier as Peter PanCaptain Hook, Agatha Harkness as tangledGothel’s mother, Loki is like HerculesHades, Dr. Gharib As AladdinJafar. Check out the designs below:
Each well-thought-out combination is more than just putting two different characteristics together into one piece of art. For example, Loki and Hades are both characters from mythology revived in new contexts, as well as charismatic villains who tend to be as lovable as the heroes they encounter. There’s a connection in every entry, even the more subtle ones: Although she didn’t use a tower like Mother Gothel, Agatha Harkness treated the Scarlet Witch as Rapunzel by trapping her in a finite world.
This is just the smallest sample of heroes from Marvel Cinematic Universe, is largely taken from the Disney+ streaming series that has lit up the platform throughout the year. This set of pieces is a reminder of how powerful the universe of the series can be, and with any luck Ivanova will see fit to apply that fertile imagination to more characters. To be sure, there are still enough Disney villains to offer unique comparisons.
