In the footage, which was shared to TikTok through an account called Goldenindiejoe, we can see a dog in the bathroom next to a child sitting in a support chair.
Next, the adorable dog extends the little girl’s hand, with the overlayed text saying, “Andy is new to our family but treats our special needs daughter very kindly.”
Andy can then be seen softly scratching the girl’s hand, before placing his front leg on top of it.
Then the animal passes its hand and gently licks it to show affection.
The text explains: “She is 4 years old and has a genetic disorder, but she loves dogs. We all love this boy very much and he is the best dog.”

The awesome clip has gained a lot of traction online since it was posted on October 22, garnering more than 937,000 likes.
In addition, more than 4,800 people headed to the comments section to share their opinions about the sweet moment.
One TikToker, Cay, wrote from a dog’s perspective: “Let me show you how I want to pet a little human. Now you’re petting me.”
