Love Island, Kayla Troy, has bombed that her romantic scenes with finalist Teddy Soares were cut short by the producers of the dating show ITV2.
The 28-year-old Irish beauty said she and Teddy were talking regularly after they met at Casa Amor, and the 26-year-old financial advisor was also flirting with Clarice Juliet.
However, she claimed that the show’s producers “had an agenda” and cut those special scenes out because they didn’t want to separate Teddy and Faye Winter, who was waiting for his return to the villa.
Ironically, Teddy and Fay are temporarily separated upon his return from Casa Amor, after he suggests on the infamous postcard that he cheated on her with Clarice.
Furious, Faye reconciles with newcomer Sam, leaving Teddy wrecked when he returns to be reunited with the stunner from Devon.
They eventually got back together, and despite Fi’s shocking eruption at Teddy after movie night – prompting thousands of complaints from viewers – the pair finished third, losing £50,000 to eventual winners Millie and William.
Kayla said Daily Star that she had originally been in love with Tyler when she arrived at Casa Amor, but after having a conversation with him, she was turned off, and set her sights on Teddy instead.
“I talked to all the guys, but Teddy is what I liked the most and we talked a lot! I had a lot of conversations with him, I mean they didn’t see him, but I had a lot of conversations with him,” she explained, adding that they would train together, and had “a lot of good conversations” .

Kayla claimed that Teddy then admitted he liked her and Clarice, but was considering the potential impact his behavior might have on Faye, leading her to ask Teddy where his “head” is.
She said she had a “clear relationship” to the financial advisor from Manchester, but Teddy was “afraid” she would be viewed poorly by the public, and was careful what he had to say as the cameras rolled.
Kayla also expressed her frustration that she was barely seen on television during her time at Casa Amor, especially since her relationship with viewers’ favorite Teddy was romantically related.
“I had no idea, but there was a lot of stuff going on there, a lot of conversations with guys and fun things we were doing, so finding out it wasn’t shown was very frustrating,” Kayla smoked.
The blonde beauty revealed that she went through a hell of participating in the ITV2 dating show, and was away from home for four months due to Covid restrictions and quarantine before traveling to Spain.
Kayla also said that she “was never supposed to be a Casa Girl” and was in the original Villa squad, but despite her lack of space in the Villa, she said it was “strange” to see her journey come to such an abrupt end.
