Taking to Instagram Thursday after her performance in front of streaming theater reviewers, Lily shared a note from the Stranger Things actor who noted that he hopes it won’t be ‘reviewed too well’ because it would be ‘miserable’.

Alongside a bunch of pretty flowers, he wrote a message that read: “My ambitious wife, these are unlucky flowers. If you’re well reviewed in this play, you’ll get all kinds of awards and I’ll be miserable.”

She was joined on stage by former EastEnders star Jake Wood, City Of Angels actor Hadley Fraser and Julia Chan of Silent House.

The play follows Jenny, who believes her new home is haunted but her husband, Sam (Hadley) remains skeptical.

They argue with the first dinner guests, their old friend Lauren (Julia) and her new partner Ben (Jake) and decide to stay up until 2.22 AM to find out the truth.

In addition to recent praise from critics, Lily has already received glowing reviews on social media after her debut earlier this month.
