Late for Flight, DFW Airport Passengers Arrested for Reporting Fake Bomb Threat – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
Police said a DFW airport passenger was arrested after he called a bomb threat when he was four minutes late for his flight.
Pritham Masker, 30, of North Richland Hills, was booked into prison Saturday and released Monday on false alarm or state prison felony reporting charges.
DFW Airport police received a 911 call around 9:30 a.m. Saturday reporting a bomb threat to an aircraft at Gate E11, according to a court document.
Pritham told officers that an unidentified person told him there was a bomb on the plane but then retracted and said he might have “imagined what he heard,” police said.
He then admitted that he made the threat because he missed his flight, according to his phone search warrant.
Investigators obtained the arrest warrant to confirm that it was the person who called 911.
Pritham could not be reached for comment and no lawyer was listed for him in court records.
