Killing Eve Season 4 is filming in Margate, where co-stars Jodi Comer and Fiona Shaw are filming on the waterfront
Killing Eve was filmed in Margit Today, with actors Jodi Comer and Fiona Shaw on the waterfront.
Photographer Frank Leppard captured the stars of the hit BBC television show with his camera.
They can be seen laughing and joking in some photos – while in others they are clearly visible in character.
In one photo, the 28-year-old Comer, who plays the killer Villanelli in the spy thriller, is seen looking at Shaw, 63, in her role as MI6 agent Carolyn Martens, grimacing.
Filming is the fourth and final series of the BAFTA Award-winning show, with season three airing last year.
‘Watch out for your backs,’ said Mr. Leppard, ‘as if Eve was killed in the city!
“I can’t wait to see her. Thank you all for coming to our sunny island.”
Commer wore a multicolored striped short-sleeved shirt and matching pants while Shaw was on the sand leaning in front of a blue American convertible.
Between the shots, the actors hid under the scorching sun thanks to a large canopy.
Despite the heat wave and it being ‘Freedom Day’ when coronavirus restrictions were lifted, Sid Gentle Films’ crew stayed safe from Covid by wearing face masks and using hand sanitizer.
Shaw wore a twill jacket with matching pants. Those who took a closer look at the photos said she appeared to have her hands tied.
The final series ended with Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle standing back to back on London Bridge and moving away from each other, promising to “never look back”.
At the BAFTA TV Awards, Comer admitted that filming for a new series will begin this month. The BBC will broadcast it next year.
