“About five years ago I was in deep depression and then my dad passed away. I put on a smile but every day was a different struggle and then I found fitness,” the 23-year-old wrote on Thursday about her Instagram story. “Exercise has become my therapy and my savings. With my app and platform, I have never said losing weight is ‘healthy’ or that if you exercise and use my plans, you will look like me.”
“But what I do know is that there are a lot of people just like me, who may struggle to find their place in the world, or struggle with their anxiety and mental health,” she continued. “Exercise has saved me and I wanted to tell everyone that we all start somewhere. You are beautiful in any weight, shape or size, but you are not alone.”
Earlier this week, Woods also shared a before and after photo of her weight loss journey on Instagram that showed her transformation from a cute, chubby teen into a fitter, fresher woman.
But to the applause, many on social media called her to mislead her followers and claimed that she had undergone “multiple” surgeries to reach her fitness goals.

But the model’s friend quickly defended her, criticized “false narratives” It is shared online and confirmed body is normal.
“Are we saying that women can’t work hard and change their bodies?” wrote on Twitter Thursday. “I’ve seen hard work, seen results, trust me, it’s all normal. Since she was 10, people have been calling this woman vile things because of her weight and instead of letting the internet run her life, she went out to the fucking work and changed her whole life. Fitness saved her life!”
“And for people with those Twitter fingers that make others feel bad so they can feel good about themselves, I’m going to respond to oh my hate with love because that’s what JORDYN wants to foster…love,” he continued. “So, to these people, I pray and hope you find the attention but most importantly, the love you so desperately craves. And to you, the one and only @jordynwoods, I love you baby. Every day you make me so proud to call you my girl, my queen, my rock, and all Thing “.
