Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed his midfield plans amid reports linking Brighton Midfielder Yves Bissoma is set to move to Anfield before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old played a major role in Albion Last season and so far in this campaign, they achieved their start of the season at 100%.
Liverpool lost Georginio Wijnaldum to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer after the expiration of his contract with Liverpool.
But before the window closed on Tuesday, Klopp revealed there was no need for them to buy a midfielder with a number of midfield options.
He said: “We have Curtis Jones, Naby Keita hasn’t played the whole season as we expected but he’s always done really good games.
“We have Thiago who didn’t start the game, we have Hindu (Jordan Henderson) who only played one game and we have Oxlade-Chamberlain.
“There is no need to buy a midfielder just because there is a player in the market. If people think about it, there is no real need (for a midfielder).
“If there is one player who can improve all the things we have talked about, we will do it. I promise! You will see it.”
Klopp does not expect four packed final days for his team.
He added, “I don’t expect four big days for us, to be honest. But you never knew.”
And Albion coach Graham Potter had revealed in his pre-match press conference about their confrontation with Liverpool’s rival Merseyside Everton, that Bisuma was happy at the club.
