Jack Paul only defeated former UFC champion Tyrone Woodley. Why did this fight take place so far in the partition decision? Money, two. But exactly how much?
Jack Paul told the UK Mirror that he was cutting pay for fighting so that undercard fighters could be paid more than they had fought before. Even his opponent Woodley will benefit.
“It’s definitely out of my pocket,” Paul told the mirror. “Like, right out of my wallet. Everyone on the card is getting the highest salary they’ve ever had as a fighter and that’s just part of my movement. Look, these fighters deserve more. And I want everyone to be excited and I want everyone to know that we as fighters should take care of each other. ”
In addition to the Paul-Woodley contest, other fights on Sunday include Amanda Serrano vs. Yamelith Mercado, Ivan Barancheck vs. Montana Lou, Daniel Dobos vs. Joe Cusmano and Tommy Fury vs. Anthony Taylor.
Showtime did not respond to a request for comment on how much Paul and Woodley would earn for the fight. A website, Sporting Free, estimates that Paul has been granted ضمانت 1 million in bail, with double his salary per view. The site claims that Woodley will earn half of that – $ 500,000 for the fight, and then double that to $ 1 million after the pay-per-view amount is calculated.
