Some teachers at Prosper ISD got a surprise the other day that would bring something good to their classrooms and students.
The Prosper Education Foundation and Park Place Lexus Plano have awarded grants to support three projects in two schools.
Teachers at Prosper High School will use the grant money for a resource reading library and a color label printer for project-based learning.
The Light Farms Elementary Scholarship will give a boost to the school’s Social and Emotional Development curriculum.
“Park Place Lexus has donated $10,000 to the Prosper Education Foundation to support the school’s mission to see every PISD student succeed,” said Chris Brunner, general manager of Park Place Lexus Plano, in a press release. “We are delighted that students receive additional resources to continue their education. Each scholarship can help a teacher and another student succeed, and this benefits our entire community.”
The Prosper Education Foundation supports teacher scholarships, teacher awards, teacher resources, graduate scholarships, and academic programs in schools at Prosper ISD.
