Is Kate Bishop related to Clint Barton in Hook?

Kate (played by Hailee Steinfeld) descends into the life of Clint Barton completely unexpectedly after she puts on a Ronin suit and catches the attention of his enemies, and it’s up to a disgruntled Hockey (Jeremy Renner) to sort out the chaos.

Fans have speculated whether the show will feature Kate Tully hook The cloak of Clint, which is what she does in Marvel comics.

It has also led some to question whether the two characters are actually related to each other.

Are Kate Bishop and Clint Barton related?

In Marvel comics, Kate is the youngest daughter of Manhattan social workers Derek and Eleanor, whose mother died when she was a young girl.

Her father went on to remarry a woman named Heather, who was only three years older than Kate and attended the same school.

In the Marvel comics, Kate becomes Hawkeye but shares the same superhero name with Clint.
