I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here in disarray just days after the reportedly feared chiefs had a camp exodus following the sudden exit of Richard Madley.
The series is said to be headed into chaos with three stars – Arlene Phillips, Frankie Bridge and Naughty Boy – as they seek medical treatment within days of arriving at Castle Gwrych.
Frankie and Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, was seen bursting into tears at the Thursday night show with the Saturdays singer in tears over the engagement.
Earlier this week, the ITV series was dealt a major blow when Good Morning Britain host Madeley, 65, was forced to resign Camp is only four days away.
The TV presenter, one of the biggest signings of the year, had no choice but to walk after he broke the all-important Covid bubble when he was rushed to hospital hours after completing the Bushstacker trial.
It’s another surprise for the show, which has seen ratings drop 3 million over last year.

Now more celebrities are said to be at risk of stepping out of the house – including stern ex-judge Arleen, 79, who is said to be taking painkillers due to “chronic pain”.
Saturday singer Frankie, 32, also received medical treatment after developing a rash.
While producer Naughty Boy, 36, is said to be having a “hard time” being separated from his dementia-stricken mother, he has sought advice according to the sun.
The incidents are said to have raised concerns among producers ITV The series she fears “can’t afford to lose more big names”.
Madeley has been one of the biggest signings of the year and has reportedly been paid a £200,000 fee which will still be paid in full despite his short stint on the show.

A source said: “Spirits were already at rock bottom at the start of the week with The Clink and Main Camp split.
“But there are growing concerns for Arlene who is really struggling and has chronic pain.”
The insider added that Arlene is a “soldier” and is determined to show her strength but “may reach a point where the decision is taken out of her hands”.
While Naught Boy is said to be struggling to move away from his mother with this being “the longest separating them since her diagnosis”.
“No one is quite sure what caused it, but they are hopeful the ointment will clear things up sharply,” the source added about Frankie’s rash.

Last night, the hosts of Ant and Dec admitted they were “devastated” because Richard Madley was forced out of the show.
The presenter had to resign after breaking the ‘Covid bubble’ during a trip to the hospital.
He was taken to hospital as a precaution after falling ill at Gorwich Castle in North Wales in the early hours of Thursday.

He wrote: ‘Hello everyone! Richard is here – first I say I’m perfectly fine. I started feeling briefly unwell in the early hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution.’
“By leaving the camp, I had broken the Covid ‘bubble’ and therefore had to leave the castle and all the cool celebrities who stayed in the camp.
“I am obviously devastated that I will be leaving soon but the safety of all my fellow campers is the number one priority. I am so excited to watch their journey continue…more so with the hope that I am somewhere warmer than Gwrych Castle.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my brief but totally unforgettable adventure – I’ve made some great friends and honestly had the time of my life.”
A statement from the show said: “Our strict Covid protocols mean that Richard unfortunately had to leave the show as he was no longer in the celebrity shape bubble upon entering the castle. He was a truly amazing companion and we thank him for his participation in this series.”
Understandably, he won’t be replaced by another celebrity.
Fans described this ITV series as “boring”, “flat” and “lack of spark” with 5.8 million viewers watching Tuesday’s episode while the final episode on Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off the same night pulled in 6.9 million.
Wednesday’s episode of the show saw Maddie slip first into streams of rotting fruit and vegetables during an experiment called Castle Kitchen Nightmares.
The challenge saw the presenter search for 10 stars hidden in a room “full of castle creatures” where spoiled food had been thrown at him from above.
An ITV spokesperson said: “Richard was ill in the early hours and was immediately seen by our on-site medical team.
He has since been hospitalized as a precaution; The health and safety of our fellow campers is our priority.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 5.43am this morning, Thursday 25 November, to reports of a medical emergency at Castle Gwrych in Abergele, Conwy.
“We sent a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and an emergency ambulance to the scene, and one of the patients was taken to the hospital.”
The main series is back in Wales for a second year as it continues Corona Virus Travel restrictions prevented filming at her usual location in the Australian bush.
