Inmates climb to the roof of a western Sydney prison
Corrections officers work to control a riot at a prison in western Sydney as prisoners are photographed on the facility’s rooftop.

MTC Broadspectrum, the private operator of the prison, said 14 inmates jumped onto the rooftop of the residence wing around 2 p.m. Monday.
A spokeswoman said: “Barclay Immediate Response Team officers and Security Operations Group are managing the situation to safely remove inmates from the rooftop.
Video taken by helicopter shows other inmates in the prison yard lying down with their hands over their heads.
A prison is a privately run facility that houses medium and high security inmates.
