How to turn off Find My Phone

Find My iPhone is a useful feature, but if you’re selling or trading your device, you’ll need to turn it off.

There is a handy feature in your iPhone Search my network, Which also helps you lose your phone, and so on Keep tabs on other devices In and out of the Apple ecosystem.

However, there are some situations where you should stop looking for my phone. The most common scenario is when you are selling your phone, doing business or saying goodbye in some other way. Doing so removes the phone from the list of devices associated with your account and prevents new owners from accessing information about you.

Fortunately, Apple makes it easy to stop looking for my phone. The steps vary depending on your operating system, but you only need a few steps to turn the switch on.

How to find my iPhone (on iOS 13 or later)

1. Open up Setting Menu.

2 Select your name at the top of the menu. Then select Find me Option

3. At the top of the next page, tap Find my iPhone, And toggle my phone search off. You can also turn off the Find My Network, and Last Send location option (which automatically sends your phone’s location to Apple when the battery is very low).

4 Enter your Apple ID password. And select Close.

How to search on my iPhone (iOS 12 or earlier)

1. Go to Setting Menu.

2 At the top of the menu, tap Your name.

3. Go to ICloud Menu, and enter your password.

4 Select Close To disable Find My Phone
